An Open House is a great way for prospective students and their families to explore our school and programs and experience what class is like at Drew while meeting students and faculty. These events include interactive classes with faculty and program leaders.
Exploring schools through events is an important and exciting part of the admissions experience. We know that seeing a campus and meeting members of the community is crucial and we also know that everyone has different schedules and commitments, that is why we are offering both in-person and virtual events this season to ensure everyone has a way of learning and experiencing the magic of Drew.
Can’t decide what events to attend? We strongly encourage all families to attend an Open House as this is where you will get a comprehensive overview of the school in addition to a classroom experience. For students we recommend following the Open House with the Student Visit Experience. These events are designed by students for students and allow you to get to know the culture, community and campus. For parents/guardians we recommend following the Open House with a Meet David and the Deans event. These small group events allow for deeper exploration of mission and vision with the head of school and the Deans. From there it’s really up to you in terms of what your interests are!
All events and event dates will be posted on August 16th along with our application launch. You will be able to find this information here on our virtual campus, as well as, on Ravenna where you will register to attend each event. The first wave of event registration will open up on August 24th, 2021 with a second wave opening up on September 15th, 2021.
Health and Safety
At Drew School, our team is focused on the development of innovative approaches for enhancing the school’s commitment to engaged, student-centered learning and deep community connection. We continue to remain committed to creating and enforcing comprehensive plans and procedures to keep our students, faculty, and extended community safe as we transition back into in-person learning.
Currently, all visitors and event attendees are required to show proof of vaccination and remain masked for in-person school-sponsored events.
Please note that all events are subject to change to ensure we remain compliant with the San Francisco Department of Public Health's guidelines. For the most up-to-date information, please see Drew’s Health & Safety Plan on our website. We will also provide detailed health and safety protocols in advance of each event. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in advance as we do our best to deliver an admissions experience that meets your needs and also keeps you and our community safe and healthy.
